La Plaza Mayor

The town square is a great meeting place. There's lots to see and taste!

Our new home is a blessing!

This is our Street. It's within walking distance to just about anywhere but we still take the girls to school by car a short few minutes drive! The view from Elizabeth's room is so charming. She and Abigail can see and hear the cows in the morning! At night the castle lights are lit and the view is beautiful!

Abi and Elizabeth have made friends with Kaylee and Kayleb, other MK's living in Caceres.

These are pictures Eli took when our friends from Madrid came to visit earlier in the month! Isn't she a a good picture taker? That is Ruben, our friends Gema and Manolo's son.

We made it! And after about a month we're online! The girls are doing great in school, speaking more Spanish everyday. This is La Plaza Mayor where we park everyday to take them to school. Their school is in the middle of the ancient town of Trujillo, birthplace of Francisco Pizarro, the conquistador. The school is actually a few streets away from his family's home, now a museum called Casa-museo Pizarro.

Almost time to head for Spain!

We are so thankful to our family, friends and churches who have encouraged and prayed for us as we prepare to go to Extremadura Spain. These 2 months of orientation have been a blessing. Thank you for all your prayers and support.
